 Pick any subject that we have discussed in class or you have learned about in assigned
articles or videos.
 You are required to use at least two articles from our EDUC 165 Reader. You can’t use
articles you used in Essay #1.
 This essay an opinion piece! This means you can use your own experiences and
personal pronouns (me, I) to make your points. BUT YOU MUST USE EXAMPLES AND
IDEAS FROM THE ARTICLES TOO!
 You must have a THREE POINT THESIS STATEMENT (refer to thesis statement help in
Resources on our home page of Canvas).
 Don’t forget to cite properly using APA rules (You really need to refer to my APA Cheat
Sheet if you have any questions).
 Your essay should be about 1,000 words, double-spaced, Arial or Times New Roman
Font.
 Don’t overthink this essay! Just get it down and turn it in!
